High Pressure Steel 80 Scuba Tank with your choice of DIN or yoke valve. This is similar in weight and height to a 63 aluminum tank, but it has better buoyancy characteristics. The HP80 weighs 27lbs and the 63 weighs 26.5lbs. The HP80 is -8lbs negatively buoyant when full and -1lbs when empty. An 63 is -2.1lbs negatively buoyancy when full and +2.6lbs positively buoyant when empty. This means that you will be able to remove between 2-6lbs off of your weight belt as compared to diving with a standard 80 or 63 aluminum tank. This is a high pressure tank and it is filled to 3500psi.
You will need to select whether you want a DIN or a standard Yoke fitting, when you order. Pictures are attached of each of the valves. If you are unsure, then you probably have a Yoke fitting that it what is common on Standard 80 aluminum tanks.
Scuba Diving Certification is required for rental. Your scuba diving certification will be verified on the Peace Dive Boat. You may rent equipment for your scuba certification course, but your Instructor must provide their Instructor Certification Number.
