Description

Steel 95 Low Pressure Scuba Tank with yoke valve. This tank is very heavy. If has a larger diameter than standard 80 tanks. The 95's diameter is 8" and an 80 tank is 7.25". There is also a significant weight and buoyancy difference between the tanks. The 95 weighs 41lbs and the 80 weighs 31lbs. The 95 is -4.75lbs negatively buoyant when full and -1.75lbs when empty. An 80 is -1.4lbs negatively buoyancy when full and +4.4lbs positively buoyant when empty. This means that you will be able to remove between 4-8lbs off of your weight belt as compared to diving with a standard 80 aluminum tank. Another advantage to the Steel 95 is that it is low pressure, it is full at 2400psi.

Scuba Diving Certification is required for rental. Your scuba diving certification will be verified on the Peace Dive Boat. You may rent equipment for your scuba certification course, but your Instructor must provide their Instructor Certification Number.
