Birgit Schwenzer - Birgit is a scientist by day and a fun loving scuba divemaster by night and weekend. She learned to dive in Germany and a freezing cold lake. She tells stories of how she walked through ice and snow to go diving in her local lake. And I don't think she is kidding. Now she loves working at UCSB and diving on her off time. You know when you dive with Birgit that every detail is thought out, taken care of and organized. She is the perfect diving buddy. We have been keeping her really busy with helping with classes, leading guided dives and doing dive travel with us around the world. She joined us in the Philippines and is scheduled for Maldives and Galapagos.
